WELLINGTON -- New Zealand's new cabinet was officially sworn in on Friday, with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern stressing economic recovery from "one of the most challenging times in history."

BANGKOK -- Thailand's Pattaya City plans to hold Pattaya Fireworks Festival 2020 later this month, confirmed a top executive official on Friday.

The nighttime festival is scheduled on Nov. 27-28 in Pattaya beach area under the theme of "Light is Life," according to Pattaya City Mayor Sonthaya Khunpluem. (Thailand-Fireworks Festival)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia's Ministry of Health (MoH) said on Friday that a total of 840 people, who came in contact with infected Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto, tested negative for the COVID-19 pandemic.

In its press statement, the MoH said 628 people were tested on Wednesday and 212 others on Thursday, and the results showed that all of them were negative for the virus. (Cambodia-COVID-19-Testing)

SEOUL -- Ten more U.S. soldiers in South Korea tested positive for COVID-19, the U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) said Friday.

SEOUL-- South Korean President Moon Jae-in said on Friday that his country will never stop efforts for the denuclearization of and the peace settlement in the Korean Peninsula.

"(South) Korea will never cease its efforts to end the (Korean) War for good, achieve denuclearization, and establish permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula," Moon said in a prerecorded keynote speech delivered at the Jeju Forum 2020, according to the presidential Blue House.
