CARACAS, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Salomon Rondon has returned to Venezuela's squad for 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Brazil and Chile, the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) said on Friday.

The 31-year-old, who plays for Chinese side Dalian Professional, missed the Vinotinto's first two qualifiers against Colombia and Paraguay last month to focus on helping Dalian's battle to avoid relegation from the Chinese Super League.

Rondon, who is Venezuela's all-time leading scorer with 30 goals in 80 international appearances, leads a 30-man squad that also includes Torino midfielder Tomas Rincon and Granada forward Darwin Machis.

Venezuela will meet Brazil in Sao Paulo on November 13 and Chile in Caracas four days later.

Jose Peseiro's men are currently ninth in the 10-team South American-zone World Cup qualifiers. The first four teams at the end of the CONMEBOL competition will earn an automatic berth at football's showpiece tournament in Qatar. The fifth-ranked side will advance to an intercontinental playoff, to be played over two legs.

Venezuela squad:
