Singapore reports 7 new COVID-19 cases, 58,504 in total

SINGAPORE, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's health ministry on Saturday reported seven new confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the country's total tally to 58,054.

All Of the new cases are imported cases.

On Saturday, nine more COVID-19 patients have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 57,968 people have fully recovered from the coronavirus pandemic, the ministry said.

Currently 34 patients are being treated in hospitals. Of these, none is in critical condition and held in the intensive care unit.

Furthermore, 24 people are under isolation or being cared for at community facilities, who have mild symptoms or are clinically well but test positive for COVID-19.

The death toll from the COVID-19 pandemic currently stands at 28 in the country. Enditem
