DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- At least three people were killed and 16 others were injured on Thursday morning when a fuel tanker crashed into a minibus in Tanzania's Mkuranga district in Coast region.
The minibus was knocked by the fuel tanker at 6 a.m. local time as passengers were boarding at Mwandege village along the Dar es Salaam-Mtwara highway, said Onesmo Lyanga, Rufiji regional police commander.
"Two of the victims were pupils of Juhudi Primary School," Lyanga told a news conference.
He said the fuel tanker heading to southern regions from the commercial capital Dar es Salaam lost control and hit the stationary minibus. Enditem
