KIEV -- Ukraine's Health Minister Maxym Stepanov said Saturday that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

"Despite the caution and observance of all safety rules today, I got a positive test for COVID-19," said Stepanov on his Facebook page, urging Ukrainian people to comply with quarantine measures and not to visit crowded places.

JERUSALEM -- The Israeli army said on Sunday it struck Hamas positions in Gaza on Sunday morning in response to a rocket attack from the Gaza Strip earlier Saturday night.

"Two rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel earlier tonight," the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) tweeted Sunday. "In response, our forces just struck Hamas underground infrastructure & military posts in Gaza."

MANILA -- The Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday vowed to "rebuild" the lives of the thousands of flood victims in northern Philippines, as the death toll from Typhoon Vamco has risen to 69.
