FRANKFURT, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 68.42 points, or 0.52 percent, to close at 13,201.89 points.
Housing association Deutsche Wohnen won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.08 percent. Housing association Vonovia and marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities Deutsche Boerse group gained 2.51 percent and 2.40 percent respectively.
Personal-care company Beiersdorf, aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero and pharmaceutical company Merck were the top three losers among the blue chips, falling by 2.36 percent, 1.95 percent and 1.95 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 319.24 million euros (378.84 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 0.20 percent to close at 0.990 euros per share on Wednesday. Enditem
