ISLAMABAD -- Two Pakistani soldiers were killed and one other injured in the exchange of fire with terrorists who attacked a security forces check post in the country's northwestern tribal district of South Waziristan, the Pakistani army said on Thursday.

JAKARTA -- Two people died and thousands others were displaced after floods hit 46 villages in Indonesia's Central Java province, a local official said on Thursday.

SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir -- A woman was wounded Thursday as troops of India and Pakistan resorted to heavy fire and mortar shelling on the International Border (IB) in Kashmir, officials said.
