German shares lose 0.88 pct Thursday

FRANKFURT, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 115.73 points, or 0.88 percent, to close at 13,086.16 points.

Reinsurance company Munich Re lost the most among the blue chips, down by 3.36 percent, followed by aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero and multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement, which lost 2.63 percent and 2.60 percent respectively.

European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero, housing association Vonovia and energy group RWE were the top three winners, rising 3.73 percent, 1.36 percent and 1.01 percent respectively.

Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 277.28 million euros (328.08 million U.S. dollars).

China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, rose 1.01 percent to close at 1.000 euro per share on Thursday. Enditem
