Turkish president, Saudi king discuss bilateral ties over phone

ISTANBUL, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud discussed bilateral ties during a phone conversation, Turkey's presidential office said Saturday.

"President Erdogan and King Salman agreed to keep the channels of dialogue open to improve bilateral relations and resolve problems," the presidency announced in a written statement.

It said the two leaders also discussed the G20 Leaders' Summit, which will be held on Nov. 21 and 22 and chaired by Saudi Arabia this year. Enditem
