MOSCOW, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- 2015 world champion Elizaveta Tuktamysheva from Russia reigned supreme in the ladies free skate at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Rostelecom Cup in Moscow on Saturday to take the title, according to the International Skating Union (ISU).

Tuktamysheva, dancing to "Chronicles of a Mischievous Bird", landed six triple jumps in her free skate to win with a total of 223.39 points.

European champion Alena Kostornaia, who led after Friday's short program, finished second on 220.78 after some awkward landings in the free skate.

Anastasiia Guliakova was third on 199.03, narrowly ahead of Alexandra Trusova, as the "Quad queen" and defending champion had an off day and missed her quads to drop from third to fourth on 198.93 points.

"I was not confident of victory as the competition was very strong," Tuktamysheva said. "It was a nice surprise and a nice ending to this Grand Prix.

"It was a great atmosphere and great support and I did not want the program to go downhill. The music keeps building and it is such a rare chance now to perform in front of an audience. I fed off the energy of the crowd and I gave energy back."

In the men's competition, Mikhail Kolyada made a good comeback, winning his second Grand Prix title of his career after missing the past season due to health issues. He landed two quadruple toeloops on his way to a total score of 281.89.

Morisi Kvitelashvili of Georgia, who took the lead in the short program, claimed his second Grand Prix silver medal, while Petr Gumennik of Russia earned bronze on his senior Grand Prix debut.

European champion Aleksandra Boikova/Dmitrii Kozlovskii were spectacular in their "James Bond" routine and won the pairs competition with a score of 232.56, while another European champion duo, Victoria Sinitsina/Nikita Katsalapov, won the ice dance with 217.51. Enditem
