TBILISI, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- Georgia reported 3,801 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing its total tally to 118,690.

A total of 1,293 of the 3,801 new cases were confirmed in the capital city of Tbilisi, the country's National Center for Disease Control and Public Health said.

As of Thursday, 98,781 of the 118,690 patients have recovered, while 1,124 have died, said the center.

To curb the spread of the coronavirus in the country, the Georgian government Thursday imposed further restrictions across the country, including a curfew, only takeaway services for all restaurants, and halts on all intercity public transport services from Nov. 28, 2020 to Jan. 31, 2021.

Big cities including Tbilisi will see more restrictions, including municipal transport halts during the same period.
