NEW YORK, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- A 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted 77 km SSE of Severo-Kuril'sk, Russia at 18:45:09 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 44.45 km, was initially determined to be at 49.9925 degrees north latitude and 156.3446 degrees east longitude. Enditem
