BEIRUT, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese President Michel Aoun said Tuesday that Lebanon counts on the second international conference for the support of the country after Beirut's blasts, a statement by Lebanon's Presidency reported.
"The conference is based on the report issued by the World Bank, the European Union and the United Nations to assess losses and needs of Lebanon following Beirut's blasts on Aug. 4," Aoun said in a meeting with representatives of the international community at Baabda Palace.
The conference, which will be launched on Wednesday by French President Emmanuel Macron, is expected to witness the participation of 35 countries. Enditem
