German shares lose 0.52 pct Wednesday

FRANKFURT, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 69.06 points, or 0.52 percent, to close at 13,313.24 points.

Multinational chemical firm Linde lost the most among the blue chips, down by 2.33 percent, followed by automotive supplier Continental and renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical, which lost 1.98 percent and 1.89 percent respectively.

Energy group RWE, aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero and energy group E.ON were the top three winners, rising 1.51 percent, 1.28 percent and 1.24 percent respectively.

Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 239.99 million euros (289.57 million U.S. dollars).

China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, rose 0.70 percent to close at 1.009 euros per share on Wednesday. Enditem
