LONDON, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Thursday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.42 percent, or 26.88 points, to close at 6,490.27 points.
Rolls-Royce Holdings, a UK-based engineering company, soared 15.55 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Flutter Entertainment and BT Group increased by 7.00 percent and 6.41 percent, respectively.
Just Eat Takeaway, an online food order and delivery service, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.99 percent.
