WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- White House communications director Alyssa Farah resigned on Thursday.
Farah, 31, said in a resignation letter obtained by U.S. media outlets that she's "leaving the White House to pursue new opportunities."
Her last day at the White House is on Friday, and she reportedly plans to start a consulting firm focusing on the corporate, political and defense realms.
Farah previously served as press secretary for U.S. Vice President Mike Pence and spokesperson for the Pentagon.
