STOCKHOLM, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- The FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup in Idre Fjall closed out on Sunday, where Perrine Laffont of France doubled her success in the women's dual moguls while Ludvig Fjallstrom of Sweden and Matt Graham of Australia shared the men's title after the final phase of the event was canceled due to low visibility.

Sunday's action was affected by dense cloud and fog. After beating Jaelin Kauf of the United States in the big final, Laffont took her second victory of the weekend in Idre Fjall and her third consecutive win so far this season. It also marks the 20th World Cup win for the 22-year-old.

"Making it back-to-back here in Idre is just amazing," said Laffont.

Kauf earned her second podium of the 2020/21 season. The third place went to Japanese skier Anri Kawamura, who defeated Tess Johnson of the United States in the consolation final.

Laffont extended her lead on the women's World Cup rankings, sitting atop the standings with 300 points. Second-placed Kauf has 205 points, while Kawamura is third with 172 points.

The fog piled up and the jury decided to call off the final phase of the men's event, thus Fjallstrom and Graham shared the title. The small finals participants Bradley Wilson of the United States and Jordan Kober of Canada were also awarded a tie and finished the competition in joint third place.

Japanese skier Ikuma Horishima sits atop the men's rankings with 172 points. Fjallstrom climbs to second with 172 points, followed by Graham with 149 points.

The FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup's aerial competition, the first in 2021, will take place in Yaroslavl, Russia on January 16-17. The next moguls World Cup event will be staged in Calgary on January 28-31. Enditem
