SAN FRANCISCO -- Facebook and Instagram said on Thursday they will ban U.S. President Donald Trump from posting at least two weeks until the power transition to President-elect Joe Biden on Jan. 20.

"We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great. Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete," said Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in an announcement. ISLAMABAD -- Seven suspected terrorists have been arrested from the Sargodha district of eastern Punjab province, Pakistani police quoted by local media said on Thursday evening.
