KUALA LUMPUR -- Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinovac is partnering with Malaysian pharmaceutical company Pharmaniaga for the supply of 14 million doses of its inactivated COVID-19 vaccines to Malaysia after the two companies signed an agreement on Tuesday.

The agreement includes a fill and finish process of the Sinovac's COVID-19 vaccines by Pharmaniaga with the vaccines starting to be distributed to the Malaysian public by the end of March, according to Pharmaniaga, one of Malaysia's leading pharmaceutical groups and a government-linked company. JAKARTA -- A total of 15 million doses of raw materials of COVID-19 vaccine from the Chinese biopharmaceutical company Sinovac Biotech arrived at Indonesia's Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Tuesday, the National Disaster Management Agency said.

ISLAMABAD -- Four people were killed when their vehicle was hit by an avalanche in Mansehra district of Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, local media reported on Tuesday.

The deceased were on their way to a village in the district when their vehicle was buried under the avalanche on Monday morning, and rescue teams later recovered the bodies in the late hour of the night, the reports said. (Pakistan-Avalanche) Enditem
