NEW DELHI -- At least 13 people were killed and 18 others injured, some of them critically, after several vehicles collided in India's eastern state of West Bengal early Wednesday, police said.

ADDIS ABABA -- The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on Tuesday revealed it had found Eritrean refugees in Ethiopia in desperate need of supplies and services after the Tigray conflict had forced humanitarian workers to withdraw from the region.

BERLIN -- Thirty-two percent of Europeans no longer believed that Americans can be trusted after electing Donald Trump president in 2016, according to a pan-European survey of over 15,000 people in 11 countries published on Tuesday.
