YANGON -- Myanmar authorities seized over 1,160 tons of illegal timbers across Myanmar in two weeks, according to a statement from the Forest Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation on Wednesday.

SUVA -- Fiji's Office of the Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP) said 246 people were charged with a total of 531 counts of serious sexual offences last year, with more than half of the victims under the age of 18, according to Fiji Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON -- Outgoing U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday granted pardon to 73 people, including his former White House adviser Steve Bannon, in his last day in office, the White House said.
