BERLIN, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- German stocks were almost unchanged at the start of trading on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index growing by 43.44 points, or 0.32 percent, opening at 13,687.39 points.
The biggest winner among Germany's 30 largest listed companies at the start of trading was Deutsche Bank, increasing by 1.32 percent, followed by reinsurer Munich Re with 0.67 percent and technology giant Siemens with 0.59 percent.
Shares of Linde fell by 2.40 percent. The German industrial gas producer was the biggest loser at the start of trading on Tuesday.
The yield on German ten-year bonds went up 0.003 percentage points to minus 0.548 percent, and the euro was trading almost unchanged at 1.2143 U.S. dollars, increasing by 0.01 percent on Tuesday morning. Enditem
