More than half of Americans disapprove of U.S. handling of pandemic

WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- About 58 percent of Americans say the United States is doing a bad job of handling the COVID-19 pandemic, a new survey from the Pew Research Center showed.

According to a report posted Wednesday by the Pew Research Center, a survey conducted from Nov. 10 to Dec. 23, 2020 indicated that nearly three quarters of U.S. adults say their life has changed due to the pandemic, including 44 percent who say it has changed a great deal.

According to the real-time count kept by Johns Hopkins University, the United States has so far recorded more than 26.55 million COVID-19 cases with over 450,000 related deaths, leading the world with the most COVID-19 infections and deaths. Enditem
