SINGAPORE, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going down 0.32 percent, or 9.43 points, to close at 2,925.84.
A total of 2.28 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.14 billion Singapore dollars (about 860.18 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 236 to 230.
The STI index went up 0.13 percent, or 3.87 points, to close at 2,935.27 on Tuesday. Enditem
