PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Marcao Silva and Dalberto Belo scored first-half goals as Sport Recife shocked Brazilian Serie A leaders Internacional with a 2-1 victory here on Wednesday.
Marcao put the visitors ahead in the 38th minute with a low finish on the counterattack before Patrick Nascimento equalized three minutes later with a powerful first-time shot.
Dalberto restored Sport's lead on the stroke of halftime by firing in from 12 yards after he was set up by Junior Tavares.
Internacional remains a point clear of second-placed Flamengo with three matches remaining in the season while Sport eased their relegation fears by climbing to 14th in the 20-team standings.
