KINSHASA -- At least 11 people were killed on Sunday in clashes between the armed forces and Bakata-Katanga militiamen in the mining city of Lubumbashi, capital of Haut-Katanga province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
According to the administrative authorities, there are also four soldiers who died during the exchange of fire with the attackers. (DR Congo-Clashes)

SANAA -- The Yemeni Houthi militia said that they launched on Sunday new attacks on the Abha International Airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia with two bomb-laden drones, according to the Houthi-controlled Al-Masirah Television.

CONAKRY -- Guinean health minister confirmed Sunday seven Ebola cases, including three deaths in a new outbreak of Ebola, in the N'Zerekore administrative region in southeastern Guinea.

NEW DELHI -- As many as 12 bodies were retrieved during Sunday from the glacier burst site in north India, taking the total number of bodies recovered so far to 50, confirmed an official at the local disaster management office.
The disaster reportedly struck at around 10 a.m. (0430 GMT) on Feb. 7 in the northern hilly state of Uttarakhand leaving over 200 people, mostly workers at two hydropower projects, missing. (India-Glacier Burst-Bodies) Enditem
