SINGAPORE, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) going up 0.21 percent, or 6.04 points, to close at 2,931.52.
A total of 2.50 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.09 billion Singapore dollars (about 824.20 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers by 266 to 157.
The STI index went down 0.01 percent, or 0.36 points, to close at 2,925.48 on last Thursday. Enditem
