FRANKFURT, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 155.33 points, or 1.1 percent, to close at 13,909.27 points.
Personal-care company Beiersdorf lost the most among the blue chips, down by 5.89 percent, followed by European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero and multinational software corporation SAP, which lost 4.02 percent and 3.62 percent respectively.
Energy group E.ON, automotive manufacturer Daimler and manufacturing and electronics company Siemens were the top three winners, rising 1.17 percent, 0.66 percent and 0.32 percent respectively.
SAP was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 392.15 million euros (472.93 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 1.53 percent to close at 2.411 euros per share on Wednesday. Enditem
