CAIRO -- A fishing boat capsized in a lake near Egypt's Mediterranean city of Alexandria, killing at least eight people, including three children and two women, the state-run Ahram newspaper reported Tuesday.

NEW DELHI -- As many as 12 people died and three others injured in two separate road accidents in India on Tuesday.

The first accident claimed six lives and injured three in the eastern state of Bihar, confirmed a local cop over phone.

SOFIA -- Bulgaria confirmed 1,925 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the country's total to 238,591, the health ministry reported on Tuesday.
