MOGADISHU -- At least 10 people were killed and 30 others injured when a suicide car bomb exploded outside a popular restaurant in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Friday evening, police spokesperson Sadik Aden Ali said.

TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif denounced on Friday the U.S. continued sanctions against Iran amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

BRUSSELS -- The European Union (EU) and the United States have agreed to suspend the tariffs imposed over the Airbus-Boeing disputes, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Friday after a phone call with U.S. President Joe Biden.

The two leaders agreed to suspend the tariffs, both on aircraft and non-aircraft products, for an initial period of four months, von der Leyen said in a statement. (EU-U.S.-Tariff)

GENEVA -- COVAX, the international vaccine campaign co-led by the World Health Organization (WHO) and its partners, had delivered more than 20 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to 20 countries, the WHO chief said on Friday.
