BUENOS AIRES, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Gabriel Florentin struck in the 91st minute as Argentinos Juniors secured their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory at River Plate in Argentina's Primera Division on Monday.

The 21-year-old midfielder received a pass down the left channel from Gabriel Carabajal and cut inside his marker before curling an unstoppable 30-yard drive into the far corner.

The result left River sixth in the 13-team Group A standings with two wins and two defeats, three points ahead of Argentinos Juniors, who had started the season with three straight losses.

In Monday's only other fixture, Racing Club also clinched their maiden victory of the campaign as an Enzo Copetti strike guaranteed a 1-0 home defeat of Rosario Central.

Racing are now seventh in Group A with five points from four matches, one point ahead of Rosario Central. Enditem
