SINGAPORE, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 17 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the country's total tally to 60,105.

All the new infections are imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival in Singapore. Among the new cases, 15 are asymptomatic and they were detected from the proactive screening and surveillance. The two others are symptomatic.

On Sunday, 7 more patients were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 59,968 patients have fully recovered from the coronavirus epidemic, the ministry said.

There are currently 17 active cases being treated in hospitals, and none is in critical condition. Furthermore, 90 infected people are being isolated and cared for at community facilities. They have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
