JAKARTA, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's state revenue up to the end of February 2021 was recorded at 219.2 trillion rupiahs (15.2 billion U.S. dollars), or 12.6 percent of the target set in the state budget of 1,743.6 trillion rupiahs, a minister said Tuesday.

The state revenue grew by 0.7 percent (year-on-year/yoy) compared to that in the same period of 2020, which was valued at 217.6 trillion rupiahs, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati told a virtual trade conference here on Tuesday.

"It is interesting that our state revenue has grown by 0.7 percent. In February last year when the pandemic had not occurred yet, our state revenue contracted by 0.1 percent," she noted.

According to her, the tax income in February 2021 grew by 1.7 percent (yoy) compared to 178.6 trillion rupiahs in the same month of 2020 and was better than that in January 2021, which contracted 3.7 percent.
