FRANKFURT, March 26 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 127.58 points, or 0.87 percent, to close at 14,748.94 points.
Polymer material manufacturer Covestro won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.10 percent. Housing association Deutsche Wohnen and European health care company Fresenius SE gained 3.88 percent and 3.72 percent respectively.
Chemical group BASF, automotive supplier Continental and reinsurance company Munich Re were the top three losers among the blue chips, falling 0.91 percent, 0.31 percent and 0.15 percent respectively.
Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas was the most-traded share with a turnover of 379.40 million euros (447.01 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliance manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, added 1.25 percent to close at 1.883 euros per share on Friday. Enditem
