HANOI -- Vietnamese President Nguyen Phu Trong was relieved from duty on Friday afternoon here at the ongoing 11th session of the 14th National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam.

MANILA -- The Philippines' Department of Health reported on Friday 15,310 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, the highest ever daily tally since the pandemic hit the Southeast Asian country in January last year.
