BUENOS AIRES, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Former Chelsea and Argentina international striker Franco Di Santo scored his third goal in five matches as San Lorenzo beat Rosario Central 2-0 in their Argentine Primera Division clash on Friday.

The 31-year-old put the hosts ahead by angling a 15-yard drive into the bottom right corner after Diego Braghieri's flicked header.

Paraguayan winger Angel Romero doubled the lead when he latched onto Siro Rosane's pass and slid a cool finish past goalkeeper Jorge Broun.

The visitors finished the match with just nine men after Emiliano Vecchio and Lautaro Blanco received second yellow cards for bad fouls in the the last five minutes.

San Lorenzo now have two consecutive top flight victories following a five-game winless run.

Diego Dabove's men are seventh in the 13-team Group A standings with 11 points from eight matches, eight points behind leaders Colon. Rosario Central are ninth with nine points.

In other Argentine Primera Division matches on Friday, Patronato won 2-0 at home to Aldosivi and Platense prevailed 1-0 at Central Cordoba. Enditem
