VIENNA -- The Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), known as the Iran nuclear deal, resumed talks here on Tuesday, with lifting sanctions on Iran and nuclear implementation measures on top of the agenda.

WASHINGTON -- A U.S. Navy medic shot and critically injured two people at an industrial park in Frederick, the U.S. state of Maryland, on Tuesday before heading to a nearby military base, where he was killed by personnel there, authorities said.

Frederick Police Chief Jason Lando told a news briefing that police responded to a shooting incident around 8:20 a.m. ET at Riverside Tech Park, where a 38-year-old male suspect opened fire, striking two men and causing others to flee. NEW DELHI -- India on Tuesday hosted the meeting of BRICS finance ministers and central bank governors virtually, officials said.

The meeting was jointly chaired by India's finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and governor of the central bank - Reserve Bank of India Shaktikanta Das, and participated by finance ministers and central bank governors of the BRICS countries. (India-BRICS-meeting-finance ministers-governors)

JAKARTA -- The death toll from floods and landslides triggered by Tropical Cyclone Seroja in Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara rose to 117, the National Disaster Management Agency said on Tuesday.
