NEW YORK, April 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted Kermadec Islands region at 18:48:00 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 28.8376 degrees south latitude and 176.5327 degrees west longitude. Enditem
