Uganda midfielder Ntambi joins Ethiopian side Sebeta FC

KAMPALA, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Ugandan national team midfielder Chrizestom Ntambi has joined Ethiopian Premier League side Sebeta FC.

Geoffrey Kayemba, the player's intermediary, told Xinhua in an interview on Wednesday when Ntambi signed his contract with Sebeta FC.

Ntambi returned to feature on an Ethiopian side for the second time. He had played for another Ethiopian League side Bunna FC between 2018 and 2019.

Sebeta FC are currently placed 8th in the Ethiopian Premier League standings.

The other three Ugandan players featuring in the Ethiopian Premier league are: Yasser Mugerwa (Sidama Bunna FC), Isaac Isinde (Hadiya Hossana FC) and goalkeeper Brian Bwete who turns out for Shire Endaselassie FC.

Apart from Ethiopia, Uganda has players in South Africa, Egypt, Algeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi and Zambia. Enditem
