BUENOS AIRES, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Uruguayan forward Martin Cauteruccio scored in the 93rd minute as Estudiantes rose to second in Argentina's Primera Division standings on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Aldosivi.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 93rd minute when Mauro Diaz slalomed past two defenders and squared the ball to Cuateruccio for an easy tap in.
Estudiantes now have 15 points from nine matches, five points behind leaders Colon, who have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Defensa y Justicia conceded two own goals as they were held to a 2-2 home draw by Talleres Cordoba.
Strikes either side of halftime from Miguel Merentiel and Lautaro Escalante were cancelled out by teammates Nestor Breitenbruch and Juan Rodriguez in the 43rd and 66th minutes, respectively.
In Saturday's only other fixture, Enzo Copetti converted a 97th-minute penalty to earn Racing Club a 1-0 home win over Independiente. Enditem
