TOKYO, April 12 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 109.72 yen level in early deals in Tokyo on Monday.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 109.72-73 yen compared with 109.60-70 yen in New York and 109.50-51 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1897-1897 dollars and 130.53-57 yen against 1.1896-1906 dollars and 130.45-55 yen in New York and 1.1897-1899 dollars and 130.27-31 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
