FRANKFURT, April 14 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 25.21 points, or 0.17 percent, to close at 15,209.15 points.
Deutsche Post lost 2.16 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by energy group E.ON and European health care company Fresenius SE, which lost 1.56 percent and 1.37 percent respectively.
Housing association Deutsche Wohnen gained 2.93 percent, becoming the top gainer. The energy division of Siemens Group, Siemens Energy, and Deutsche Bank advanced 2.41 percent and 1.32 percent respectively.
Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share with a turnover of 574.47 million euros (688 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 0.28 percent to close at 1.921 euros per share on Wednesday. Enditem
