MINSK, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.9 percent in January-March 2021, the National Statistical Committee of Belarus said on Friday.
The GDP volume in current prices amounted to 36.3 billion rubles (about 14 billion U.S. dollars), having increased by 0.9 percent compared to January-March 2020, the official statistics said.
In January-March 2021, the GDP deflator index equaled 111.2 percent as against January-March 2020.
In 2020, Belarus' GDP declined by 0.9 percent after growing by 1.2 percent in 2019. Enditem
