Kuwait, Russia voice readiness to boost ties: media

KUWAIT CITY, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait and Russia are prepared to further boost bilateral relations, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported Monday.

Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Monday talked by phone with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in which both sides affirmed mutual desire to elevate relations, KUNA said.

They discussed in detail issues related to bolstering the two countries' cooperation in commercial, economic and investment spheres, it added.

In addition, the two sides affirmed necessity of maintaining the current dynamism in promoting commercial ties, resuming exchanges in the cultural and humanitarian sectors, and improving health and epidemical conditions. Enditem
