BUENOS AIRES, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Second-half goals from Franco Soldano and Gonzalo Maroni gave Boca Juniors a 2-0 win at Huracan in Argentina's Primera Division on Saturday.

Soldano fired the visitors ahead with a close-range shot just after halftime and Maroni put the result beyond doubt with a 94th-minute strike after combining with Colombian midfielder Frank Fabra.

Boca now have 19 points from 11 matches, three fewer than Group B leaders Velez Sarsfield, who have a game in hand. Huracan are ninth in the 13-team group, seven points further back.

Earlier, Juan Manuel Cruz scored in the 95th-minute to cancel out Gabriel Avalos' late strike and earn Banfield a 1-1 draw at Argentinos Juniors.

Cruz's goal came against the run of play as Argentinos Juniors dominated possession following the 76th-minute dismissal of winger Mauricio Cuero.

Meanwhile, Godoy Cruz secured a 1-0 home win over Central Cordoba thanks to a first-half penalty from Martin Ojeda. Enditem
