Myanmar reports 10 new COVID-19 cases, 142,722 in total

YANGON, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar reported 10 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the tally in the country to 142,722, according to a release from the Ministry of Health and Sports.

One new death was reported on Sunday, bringing the death toll to 3,207 in the country, the release said.

According to the ministry's figures, a total of 131,932 patients have been discharged from the hospitals and over 2.56 million samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far, including 1,230 samples tested on Sunday.

Myanmar detected its first two positive cases of COVID-19 on March 23 last year. Enditem
