FRANKFURT, April 27 (Xinhua) -- German stocks ended lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 47.07 points, or 0.31 percent, to close at 15,249.27 points.
European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero lost 1.99 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement and multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer, which shed 1.53 percent and 1.00 percent respectively.
Pharmaceutical company Merck gained 1.22 percent, becoming the top gainer. Deutsche Post and Deutsche Bank advanced 1.15 percent and 1.03 percent respectively.
German insurance and financial services company Allianz was the most traded share with a turnover of 204.92 million euros (247.71 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 1.46 percent to close at 1.853 euros per share on Tuesday. Enditem
