French shares up 0.61 pct Monday

PARIS, May 3 (Xinhua) -- French shares closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 0.61 percent, or 38.42 points, to close at 6,307.90 points.
Of the 40 selected large companies, 32 gained in the day.
The top gainer of the blue chips was French multinational automobile manufacturer Renault, which advanced 1.77 percent. International steel producer ArcelorMittal SA rose 1.71 percent and French financial group AXA gained 1.64 percent.
The top loser of the blue chips was French payment and transactional services company Worldline, which went down by 1.60 percent. French-Italian multinational electronics and semiconductor manufacturer STMicroelectronics lost 1.48 percent and French digital transformation leader Atos dipped 0.92 percent. Enditem
