New Zealand reports 1 new case of COVID-19 in managed isolation

WELLINGTON, May 7 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand reported one new case of COVID-19 in managed isolation with no community cases recorded on Friday.

The newly imported case came from United Arab Emirates, and was in a managed isolation and quarantine facility in Auckland, according to the Ministry of Health.

Three previously reported cases have now recovered. The total number of active cases in New Zealand is 26, and the total number of confirmed cases is 2,278, said a ministry statement. Enditem
