FRANKFURT, May 7 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 202.91 points, or 1.34 percent, to close at 15,399.65 points.
Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 8.42 percent. European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero and semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies gained by 3.64 percent and 3.62 percent respectively.
Multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement, material manufacturer Covestro and Deutsche Post were the top three losers among the blue chips, falling 4.04 percent, 1.33 percent and 0.97 percent respectively.
Adidas was the most-traded share with a turnover of 473.79 million euros (571.34 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 1.31 percent to close at 1.737 euros per share on Friday. Enditem
